Good to know

At summer school, you can develop public speaking skills in a safe environment and receive feedback from the faculty and your peers. During the registration process, participants are requested to disclose the topic they will present during Summer School. The student presentation will consist of a 5-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of feedback. The 10-minute oral presentation is an effective way to try out new ideas and improve your public speaking skills. The presentation topic can be a clinical case study or a research project. The sessions will focus on improving presentation skills rather than discussing the topic. In advance of summer school, one of ESCMID's educational experts will provide detailed guidance on slides, body language, and voice use in a tutorial video format.

The ESCMID Education team will apply for accreditation to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).

Each participant can only receive the number of credits according to actual participation in the event and upon completion of the feedback survey.

The ESCMID Education team will apply for compliance  according to the Ethical MedTech regulation

Participants are responsible for arranging their visas and ensuring they meet all entry requirements for Ireland. We recommend checking with the relevant embassy or consulate well in advance to allow sufficient processing time. If you need an invitation letter to apply for a visa, please email courses(at)escmid.org
