In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, ESCMID now plays an important role in emerging infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance education and research.
ESCMID is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that has supported microbiologists and infectious disease specialists along their career paths, promoting innovative research and education to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases worldwide since 1983.
