Short summary of skills, experience and career objective
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow with a background in antimicrobial resistance, microbiology, and immunology, currently based at the Vaccine Research Center of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. My work lies at the interface between basic and translational research, with a particular focus on vaccines and antibody-based strategies against multidrug-resistant bacteria. I am particularly interested in developing strategies to improve preparedness against antimicrobial-resistant pathogens. I have experience in isolating and characterizing human monoclonal antibodies and in developing translational in vitro models to study host–pathogen interactions and evaluate therapeutics. I enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and bridging knowledge and resources across different stakeholders, with a track record of advancing projects from concept to impactful results. I am also interested in how scientific evidence informs public health, policy, and preparedness, and I value open scientific exchange and strong international networks as foundations for effective responses to infectious disease threats. I aim to continue my career in the field of antimicrobial resistance and pandemic preparedness, and to eventually engage with foundations that work at the intersection of research, policy, and public health.
