The programme committee consisted of a diverse group of experts who represent ESCMID in scientific collaboration with the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID), the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP), the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or are independent. This blend of expertise and backgrounds ensured a wide range of perspectives when addressing the creation of new vaccines and the challenges associated with their use and distribution.
