Short summary of skills, experience and career objective
I am a clinical microbiologist, researcher, and lecturer with over 12 years of experience in clinical microbiology, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), molecular diagnostics, and bacterial genomics. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Dow University of Health Sciences, Pakistan, I have expertise in antimicrobial susceptibility testing, PCR, bacterial identification, biofilm analysis, whole-genome sequence analysis, and bioinformatics. I have six peer-reviewed publications, including four first-author papers, and experience supervising postgraduate research students. I also collaborate with international researchers in Australia and the United Kingdom. My career objective is to advance research in antimicrobial resistance, genomic epidemiology, and infectious diseases through international collaboration, innovative diagnostics, and evidence-based approaches to combating multidrug-resistant pathogens. I aim to contribute to ESCMID's scientific community and explore international research and career opportunities.
