Dear colleagues,

we are pleased to present a new ESCMID Collaborative Centre: the Infectious Disease Department at the Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Led by Prof. Bijie Hu the department has a strong track record on comprehensive intervention and management of nosocomial infections such as ICU catheter-related infections, operation site infections, multiple drug-resistant bacteria infections and antimicrobial drug use.
