Train strike in September called off!

 

The train strike that was planned on 15, 16 and 26/27 September has been called off by all the unions involved. Rail services are now expected to operate as normal on these days.

 

Rail

 

Bath Spa Railway Station is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre, just a short walk from some of Bath’s attractions, venues, and hotels. The Great Western Railway, serves the city and South West region with regular high-speed services from London Paddington taking just 80 minutes. Arriving at Bristol Airport, travel to Bristol City Centre and continue your travel to Bath. Those that arrive from further Airports such as Gatwick-, Luton-, Stansted-, Heathrow- and the London City Airport, it is recommended to travel to Paddington station and continue your travel to Bath.

How to Book

  • Select your travel dates, times, number of passengers and preferred class and click search.
  • You will then be able to see all available trains and continue to book as you normally would.

 

From the Bath Spa Trainstation it is a short 500 meter walk to the Venue thereafter.

 

Air

 

Bristol Airport is the 8th largest UK airport with frequent flights from major hubs such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Dublin, enabling hundreds of onward connections to the Americas, Africa and Asia. Business travellers using Bristol Airport can take advantage of car parking close to the terminal, fast track security and a dedicated executive lounge. Bristol Airport is a short 20 minute drive to Bristol city centre and a 40 minute drive to Bath city centre.

 

Road

 

Bath is located just ten miles from junction 18 of the M4 motorway, which runs directly from London and Heathrow Airport. There are also excellent motorway links from the north, Devon and Cornwall via the M5 motorway, and Wales is just a short drive west on the M4 motorway.
