Description:
Basel Postdoctoral Network (BPN) Retreat is an annual meeting for the postdoctoral community of Basel from academia and industry. Our aim is to bring together PostDocs from diverse background to discuss their scientific achievements, get insights into career opportunities, and to extend their professional network. This year we are organizing the 5th edition of the retreat. We are proud to welcome Prof. Magdalena Götz (Helmholz Center Munich) and Prof. Kai Johnsson (EPFL, Lausanne) as keynote speakers along with oral and poster presentations by the participating PostDocs. We are also organizing six talks on possible career opportunities in science and beyond.

Attendance Grants:
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist
members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel or accommodation costs. Please apply here before 31 August 2015. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by 10 September 2015.
