The course comprises methodological (methods of IDE, outbreak investigation, surveillance, mathematical modelling, health economics), practical and disease specified parts. Each year the topics are adapted to the actual epidemiological demands, focussing this year on rotavirus outbreaks, Chikungunya, swine influenza, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS including health economic evaluations and challenges for Public Health in vulnerable populations.
