ECCMID Travel Grants 2016

The submission deadline for the 2016 travel grants for ECCMID in Amsterdam has expired! Applicants will be informed of the decision in January 2016. In the autumn of 2016 we will be accepting applications again for the 2017 congress.

Purpose

ESCMID Young Scientist members (35 years-of-age or younger), who wish to attend the 26th ECCMID in Amsterdam, may apply for support. Abstracts are evaluated by blind review and on this basis, up to 100 abstracts with the highest scores are offered free registration. Of these individuals, an additional travel grant is awarded to those with the highest scores.

Funding

A travel grant will include full registration to the Congress and a travel allowance amounting to EUR 500 (paid in cash onsite against presentation of an identity card or passport).

Eligibility criteria

Travel grants and free registrations are both conditional upon the acceptance of an abstract. The applicant must be presenting author of an abstract submitted for the 26th ECCMID and as well as an ESCMID Young Scientist member (35 years-of-age or younger).
