ECCMID Travel Grants 2015

The submission deadline for the 2015 travel grants for ECCMID Copenhagen has expired! Applicants will be informed of the decision at the beginning of January 2015. In the autumn of 2015 we will be accepting applications again for the 2016 congress.

ESCMID Young Scientist members (35 years-of-age or younger), who wish to attend the 25th ECCMID in Copenhagen, may apply for support. Abstracts are evaluated by blind review and on this basis, up to 100 abstracts with the the highest scores are offered free registration. Of these individuals, an additional travel grant is awarded to those with the highest scores.

A travel grant will include full registration to the Congress and a travel allowance amounting to EUR 500 (paid in cash onsite against presentation of an identity card or passport).

Eligibility criteria

Travel grants and free registrations are both conditional upon the acceptance of an abstract. The applicant must be presenting author of an abstract submitted for the 25th ECCMID and as well as an ESCMID Young Scientist member (35 years-of-age or younger).
