ESCMID is proud to announce a new grant with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation aimed at supporting and promoting ECCMID participation from persons residing in Low- and Lower-middle income countries.

 

This new grant will cover the registration for selected attendees from LMICs for the 31st ECCMID taking place July 9-12, 2021 online. The agreement has also been extended to cover the registration, travel and accommodation for speakers and attendees from LMICs for the 32nd ECCMID set to take place in April 2022 in Portugal.

Applicants are asked to fill out the online form including personal information, motivation to attend ECCMID and provide proof of your status* (copy of passport, government ID or other official identification). Applications are open starting 2 June 2021 and will close 10 June 2021.

 

*Grantees must live/work in a Low- or Lower-middle income country as indicated by the World Bank classification from June 2020
