Online Course

The online training on the GRADE approach is available for ESCMID members. Completion of this course represents a minimum requirement for all guidelines' panel members.
Members of other scientific societies and patients representative need to fulfill the same rules for SOP of the ESCMID members. 

2 hours are needed to complete this course, composed of 8 videos of approximately 15 minutes each.

On-site training

The ESCMID Guidelines Subcommitee organises an on-site training course that covers all steps of guidelines production, with a main focus on systematic reviews, meta-analyses and the GRADE approach. The course is free of charge, but participants will need to commit formally to be available in the 24 months following course attendance, in future ESCMID guidelines deveopment projects and assist the drafting groups in performing systematic reviews (abstract screening, full text screening and data extraction) for ESCMID guidelines projects. 

The course will be ideally held once a year, and will consist of both interactive lectures and practical exercises. Application for European CME accreditation through EACCME will be submitted.
