Public Transportation

The exhibition grounds are located 30 minutes from Munich’s historic city centre.

Through the transport links visitors can reach the venue quickly and comfortably. The U2 underground line connects to the entrances at Messestadt West. After a short walk from the station you will enter the main entrance of ESCMID Global 2026.

Public Transport Update
From April 13 at 10:10 p.m. until April 17 at 5:00 a.m., there will be construction work on the airport lines S1 and S8. During this time, the last 3–4 stations to and from the airport will be replaced by bus services.
We don’t expect any major issues, as this mainly affects group registration days and the disrupted sections will be covered by replacement buses.

At the moment there are no planned strikes. MVG strikes impact buses, trams, and the metro not the S-Bahn.

We therefore don’t expect any major impact on ESCMID Global 2026.
