Accepted abstracts that are not allocated to an oral session will be presented during the poster sessions that take place everyday of the congress. ESCMID strongly encourages presenters to actively participate in these sessions to network, personally share, and discuss their research with the ESCMID community. If your abstract has been accepted for a poster presentation, you are required to upload an electronic version of your poster (ePoster). As ESCMID Global is a hybrid event, all ePosters will be accessible on the ESCMID Global virtual platform and through the App during the congress and for six months afterward, ensuring maximum visibility for registered delegates. Each poster will also be assigned to a numbered display board for in-person viewing during dedicated poster sessions. To be included in the programme, all presenters—both online and onsite—must upload their ePoster to their speaker profile upon registration.

Poster Walkthrough sessions were first introduced last year and offer a unique opportunity for presenters and attendees to engage in dynamic discussions around selected posters in an interactive, small group setting. They provide an excellent platform for networking and knowledge exchange.
Each day, one walkthrough session will be held, featuring 10 selected posters chosen from abstracts scheduled for presentation on that day. The sessions will be informal and engaging, guided by an expert moderator who will lead the group through the selected posters, fostering in-depth conversations with presenters.
