Grant applications

We are excited to be able to further ESCMID's mission of promoting and supporting research, education, training, and good medical practice across the globe.

*Young Physicians/Scientists, as well as applicants that live/work in a Low- or Lower-middle income country** can apply for an AMS Certificate Grant. The ESCMID grant covers half of the registration fee (up to 2,500 EUROS) for a limited number of participants. Additional support may also be available from industry partners.

Eligibility criteria

*Young physician / scientist: for individuals 35 years of age or younger and for those under 40 years of age upon proof of training status (copy of passport and written confirmation of head of department obligatory)

**Applicants from Low- or Lower-middle income country as indicated by the World Bank classification from July 2021.

Cancellation policy

• >30 days before the start of the basic module: 25% of the full programme amount will be charged 

• 29 to 15 days before the start of the basic module: 60% of the full programme amount will be charged

• Less than 15 days before the start of the basic module: the full programme total amount will be charged

No charges apply for a suitable, qualified substitute participant.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the course up to two weeks before the start date. A full refund of the course fees will be allowed, but the organisers cannot be held responsible for any other costs incurred (transports, hotels, etc.).
