ESCMID Ethics Advisory Committee

The ESCMID Ethical Advisory Committee (EEAC) is an independent body that shall advise the ESCMID Executive Committee (EC) on specific ethical, regulatory, social and philosophical issues related to ESCMID funded-research projects and scientific behaviour of members or appointed persons in matters related to ESCMID activities.

More information about the EEAC functions and responsibilities can be found here.

After the call issued in August 2020 to invite interested professionals to join the Committee, the EC has selected the four members that will serve in the EEAC starting from January 2021 for a two-years term:
-    Aleksandra Barac, Serbia
-    Asma Nasim, Pakistan
-    Elda Righi, Italy
-    Dafna Yahav, Israel

We are looking forward to start collaborating with them, in this important new task for ESCMID.
