1. Resume

Short summary of skills, experience and career objective

I graduated in pharmacy in 2010 and succeeded in the “medical microbiology residency contest “the same year. During my post-graduation, I had to tour the Algiers most prestigious institutions of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases, as Mustapha Bacha hospital and Pasteur institute where I developed many skills in bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Anaerobes and virology.
Since 2015,after succeeding in “assistant masters” recruitment test, I am both a college teacher and a healthcare professional in Tizi-ouzou region, assuming many high functions both at the university and hospital (detailed in my CV), My current position did not come without sacrifices, in fact the region is remote and needs development, ,but it was an opportunity for me to learn and evolve quickly, however, Because of the remoteness and lack of means, I was not successful in publishing, but I kept doing research at my lab’s level and presenting our result in national and international scientific meetings.
Yet, my thirst for science and my dream of pursuing a PhD thesis re-emerged, in fact, in 2018, I resigned from my “chief of staff of the clinical biology laboratory” position to start to invest on myself and develop international experience ,I had the chance to be selected for the ESCMID observership 2019.
my career objectives are to persue a PhD degree in medical microbiology and to focus my reseach on new therapeutic alternatives for bacterial infections treatment.
