For years, ESCMID has nurtured a strong partnership with the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), rooted in a shared objective to tackle the growing threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). This long-standing collaboration has resulted in the joint organisation of biannual conferences dedicated to drug development. In today's landscape, such collaborative efforts are essential in the pursuit to discover new ways to combat AMR.
The highly anticipated 2022 ESCMID/ASM took place from 4–7 October in Dublin, Ireland, bringing together 260 delegates onsite. Fifty renowned faculty members shared their expertise discussing breakthroughs in AMR. Across two sessions, 63 posters showcased the latest research.
