4th ESCMID Professional Affairs Workshop (Online)

“Being an infectious disease or a clinical microbiology specialist: challenges and opportunities”

23-26 November 2020



The Professional Affairs Workshop (PAW) is a four-day event which will be held for the first time in an online format. Due to the change of format, the event will consist of a one hour plenary session in the mornings and a one hour plenary session in the afternoons. There will be networking and interactive sessions inbetween these plenaries, where participants work in small groups (2-3 hours per day).

The programme consists of a wide range of topics in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. The current global pandemic situation has influenced the content of this workshop and will be specifically addressed.

The target audience is professionals and trainees in Clinical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and other related specialties, as well as stakeholders interested in these fields

    CME Accreditation

    The organisers will apply for CME accreditation of this event from UEMS-EACCME. More information on how this will be tracked during the online event will follow at a later stage.
