21st ESCMID Summer School


1 - 8 July 2023, Seville, Spain

 

A one-week course dedicated to postgraduate and continuing medical education. The programme covers a broad range of topics in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases and will interest young MDs at the end of their specialty training as well as biologists, pharmacists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in the infection field.

The fee covers the course, educational material, seven nights (check-in 1 July, check-out 8 July 2023) in a shared twin room*, breakfasts, lunches, and coffee breaks.

Case Study Preparation

Participants are requested to prepare a presentation of a case or their research work as part of registration. All participants will present their cases or research projects during the course. The case/ research project should come from the professional experience of the participant, be of practical relevance and have some educational value.

 

We only need the title of your presentation for the registration process, and it should take 12-15 minutes, followed by a discussion of maximum 5 minutes. Please use an absolute maximum of 17 PowerPoint-type slides, with no more than 7 lines of text on a slide. Please bring your presentation on a USB stick in .pptx and PDF format to the event and save it online as a backup.
