21st ESCMID Summer School
1 - 8 July 2023, Seville, Spain
A one-week course dedicated to postgraduate and continuing medical education. The programme covers a broad range of topics in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases and will interest young MDs at the end of their specialty training as well as biologists, pharmacists, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows working in the infection field.

The fee covers the course, educational material, seven nights (check-in 1 July, check-out 8 July 2023) in a shared twin room*, breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks and social events.
Rates are available without accommodation for local participants (€100 discount) is available. Please contact the course secretariat for more information.
*If two participants wish to share a room, this can be arranged in advance with the event secretariat.
Attendance Grants
ESCMID members can apply for an attendance grant, covering the registration fee (including shared accomodation). Travel is not included.
Grant applications can be submitted until Wednesday, 29 March 2023, 23:59 CEST.
Grant recipients will be notified by 12 April 2023.

Case Study Preparation
Participants are requested to submit an abstract of a case or their research work as part of registration. All participants will present their cases or research projects during the course. The case/research project should come from the professional experience of the participant, be of practical relevance and have some educational value.

The organisers of the course will apply for European CME accreditation through EACCME.
