Course Objectives

Review basic methodology in bacteriology, virology, fungal infections and parasitology with focus on the newest technologies illustrated by clinical
cases. Discuss validation of diagnostic tests including definition of cut-offs and external quality control programmes.

Up to 200 physicians and laboratory staff with an academic background, i.e. MDs or PhDs.
