Course Objectives

Learning about epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, prevention and therapy of main infections occurring after solid organ and haematopoietic stem-cell transplantations. Specific subjects include donor-derived, viral, bacterial, mycobacterial, fungal and parasitic infections. Travel medicine for immunocompromised hosts will be especially addressed.
