ESCMID Panorama

Those actively participating in ESCMID-related activities are required to fill out and regularly update a declaration of potential conflicts of interest. The form is available as an editable pdf.

Conflicts of interest (CoI) are defined as any interest that may affect or reasonably be perceived to affect an expert’s objectivity and independence.

Whether a potential CoI is deemed relevant depends on the role the person has within the society. Consequently, the disclosure of a CoI does not automatically disqualify or limit participation in ESCMID-related activities. If the nature of an interest or the amount/value,  is not indicated, the conflict will be assumed to be significant.

The completed CoI forms for all relevant groups will be accessible on the ESCMID website.
