ESCMID Membership

ESCMID offers a Basic Membership which gives access to the reduced fees to our congress (ECCMID) and other ESCMID events. We also offer a Full Membership which includes access to programmes such as mentorships as well as awards and grants. For our people in training, we offer the Young Scientist Membership. This is a special membership which allows members to apply for funded Observerships as well as enjoying the benefits of a Full Membership. You can sign up for membership online (credit card payment) for one to five years, and as soon as payment is complete you can immediately take advantage of membership benefits. Pending approval by the Executive Committee, membership begins as soon as payment has been received and continues for the chosen duration. All memberships include online access to the society's journal, CMI. For additional fees members can receive CMI in print and/or other journals. See below for an overview of types of membership and fees.

 

Please note that upgraded membership types purchased will only become effective from the conclusion of any currently running lower-grade (i.e. basic) membership(s)

Affiliated Membership: Members of affiliated societies receive ESCMID Online News via their society's secretariat.

ESCMID Membership is for 365 days after payment has been made.

 

To guarantee uninterrupted print journal deliveries, membership must be renewed by the 5th of the month prior to expiration of your membership.

 

Additional journal subscriptions are offered to those who pay for a membership

This membership is open to all individuals still in training or completing their training (PhD with no longer than eight years post-graduation / MD or MD/PhD with no longer than five years from completion of clinical training/speciality). Individuals may submit proof of training status to obtain a Young Scientist Membership during the membership process.
