We are proud to unite 10K ESCMID members as well as 45K affiliated members through our 77 national and international affiliated societies. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, ESCMID has become an increasingly important actor on the global stage with our focus moving to Emerging infectious diseases and Antimicrobial Resistance.
Since 1983, we have supported microbiologists and infectious disease specialists along their career paths, promoting innovative research and education to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of ID worldwide.
