EPASG/ISAP joint symposium

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in this year’s virtual ISAP/EPASG joint meeting on “New Developments in Anti-Infective Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics” which will be held from Friday 12th to Saturday 13th of November 2021 ONLINE and is free of charge. In Honour of Professor Hartmut Derendorf a Themed Issue will be held.


Further sessions of this joint symposium:

  • Viral PK/PD
  • Combination therapy
  • Pro and Con sessions about
  • Translating Preclinical Models to Clinical Outcomes
  • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.


Furthermore, we encourage all Young Investigators to actively contribute to the EPASG-ISAP joined symposium by submitting abstracts for a short oral presentation supported by power point slides. You are also welcomed to present data that has been already approved at ECCMID 2021. To submit abstracts, we would ask you to send an e-mail with your abstract (in any format) to alina.nussbaumer-proell[at] until the 10th of October. Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Please include your affiliation and full name.

Please register with your FULL name and e-mail address, otherwise it is not possible to provide a certificate of attendance. All data will be held confidential and will not be given to third parties or used for any other purpose.

The meeting link will be sent out two days in advance of the meeting.

2020 Annual Report Published

In memoriam Hartmut Derendorf (1953 – 2020)

Members of EPASG were saddened to hear of the passing of Hartmut Derendorf on November 23, 2020.

New EPASG Executive Committee elected

A new EPASG Executive Committee has been elected and will now be:

  • Birgit Koch, Netherlands (Treasurer)
  • Sebastian Wicha, Germany (Education Officer)
  • Francoise Van Bambeke, Belgium (Science Officer)

We thank all previous Executive Committee for their excellent work over the last years. We are looking forward to continuing this work.

EPASG Anti COVID-19 Survey

EPASG invites you to answer a short questionnaire with the aim of evaluating your actual "standard of care" for anti COVID-19 therapy use in your country and your department. The survey will allow us to assess the different practices worldwide for participants with direct patient care.
