Online Course

The online training on the GRADE approach is available for ESCMID members. Completion of this course represents a minimum requirement for all guidelines' panel members.
Members of other scientific societies and patients representative need to fulfill the same rules for SOP of the ESCMID members. 

2 hours are needed to complete this course, composed of 8 videos of approximately 15 minutes each.

On-site training

On-site training courses organized by ESCMID cover all steps of guidelines production, with a main focus on systematic reviews, meta-analyses and the GRADE approach. The course will be free of charge, but participants will need to commit formally to be available in future ESCMID guidelines projects.

The course will be ideally held once a year, and will consist of both interactive lectures and practical exercises. CME credits will be provided.

At the end of the course, participants will become members of the Evidence Review Group and will be selected in in the 24 months following course attendance, to participate in performing systematic reviews (abstract screening, full text screening and data extraction) for ESCMID guidelines projects.
