All ESCMID Young Scientist Members (YSM) can vote now for their two new representatives (1 ID/1 CM) within the TAE Steering Committee. Choose among nine candidates and cast your vote today to help shape the Trainee Association of ESCMID!

ECCMID Outreach Grant 2022 is open!

ESCMID is proud to continue the ECCMID Outreach Grant for ECCMID 2022! This grant will support ECCMID participation from Low- and Lower-middle income countries. The call for applications is now open until 20 November 2021 at 23:59 CET.

Call to select a methodologist in medical guidelines development

ESCMID is currently seeking applications for an experienced methodologist for medical guidelines development. This position will be supporting the drafting groups of ESCMID guidelines in various aspects. Interested persons can learn more and apply by 15 November 2021 on the ESCMID website.

Call to join the ESCMID Guidelines Subcommittee

ESCMID is selecting new members of the Guidelines Subcommittee. ESCMID members interested in joining the subcommittee can find the full call document here. We have extended the deadline to apply until 30 November 2021.

Public Consultation Phase open for new ESCMID Guidelines

"ESCMID rapid guidelines for assessment and management of long COVID" is undergoing public consultation. Check here to participate. The deadline to provide feedback and comments is 8 November 2021.

Register for the free REVERSE Webinar on reducing AMR

The EU-funded project REVERSE kicked-off in July 2021. This free webinar will provide information on the relevance to reverse antimicrobial resistance, first success stories and information on the foreseen work in REVERSE taking place on 25 November 2021 at 14:30-16:00 CEST.

ESCMID update on treatment guidance for C. difficile infection in adults

The growing literature on CDI antimicrobial treatment and novel treatment approaches, such as fecal microbiota transplantation and toxin-binding monoclonal antibodies, prompted the ESCMID study group on C. difficile to update the 2014 treatment guidance document for CDI in adults.
