TAE Research Bites submission is closing soon

Abstract submission for the TAE Research Bites closes next week on the 16th of November! These Research Bites are submitted through the regular abstract submission, but close before the normal abstract deadline, so don't delay on your submission. Travel Grants are available for these abstracts!

ECCMID 2023 Regular Abstract submission closes

Voting for new members of the TAE Steering Committee is now open!

Cast your vote until 30 November 2022 at 12:00 noon CET to elect three new members of the TAE Steering Committee. Voting is open to all Young Scientist Members, which represent the future of ESCMID and one of the society's main agents of change and progress. This is your chance to be heard by voting for the next members of the TAE Steering Committee among six excellent candidates.

World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2022

WAAW 2022 starts next week on November 18 and runs until November 24. The theme this year is "Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance Together" calling on all sectors to encourage the prudent use of antimicrobials and to strengthen preventive measures addressing AMR, working together collaboratively through a One Health approach. ESCMID Förderverein Grant: Supporting ECCMID 2023 attendees from LMICs

The ESCMID Förderverein Grant is a new grant for ECCMID used to support ECCMID attendees residing or working in CM/ID in LMICs. The grant will provide free registration as well as funding for flights and accommodation for the congress days. The application period is now open until 15 December 2022. Registration open for individual modules from the ESCMID AMS Certificate

Unable to attend the full 2-year AMS programme? No problem, a few of the individual modules are now open for registration with the other ESCMID Courses and Workshops and are denoted with "(AMS Cert.)" Numbers are limited for each so register now!

CAREer grant call for submission opens next week!

By paying a support person, the ESCMID CAREer Grant allows the recipient to reduce the workload by 20%. It is aimed at members who need support to advance their career whilst looking after their children or, from this year, suffering from an unexpected situation that prevents them from working fulltime.
