Bath is easily accessible by rail, road and air with Bristol Airport located just 19 miles from the city and a well-connected Railway station in heart of the city centre. Bath also benefits from being a short drive from both the M4 and M5 and has a well-connected regular bus and coach service.

 

Rail

Bath Spa Railway Station is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre, just a short walk from some of Bath’s attractions, venues, and hotels. The Great Western Railway, serves the city and South West region with regular high-speed services from London Paddington taking just 80 minutes. How to Book

Conference fares are only available at GWR.com/conference follow the link, select your destination, and complete the form.

 

  • In the 'To' box, please make sure Bath Spa Conference is selected as your destination, this will automatically add the discounted fare for you.
  • Select your travel dates, times, number of passengers and preferred class and click search.
  • You will then be able to see all available trains and continue to book as you normally would.

 

Air

Bristol Airport is the 8th largest UK airport with frequent flights from major hubs such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Dublin, enabling hundreds of onward connections to the Americas, Africa and Asia. Business travellers using Bristol Airport can take advantage of car parking close to the terminal, fast track security and a dedicated executive lounge. Bristol Airport is a short 20 minute drive to Bristol city centre and a 40 minute drive to Bath city centre.

 

Road

Bath is located just ten miles from junction 18 of the M4 motorway, which runs directly from London and Heathrow Airport. There are also excellent motorway links from the north, Devon and Cornwall via the M5 motorway, and Wales is just a short drive west on the M4 motorway.
