Description:
Bacteria are the most successful organisms on the planet, they generate the vast majority of foundational tools for all biology and all the omics tools are comfortably suited to large-scale studies, yet most of the excitement and attention is focused on non-microbiological problems. Therefore, this conference additionally seeks to create a venue for a modern synthesis of bacterial cell biology, bacterial disease and antibiotic resistance, and novel technology applications in bacterial systems. The key innovation here is the explicit focus on modern approaches spanning these previously separate fields.
