Event description:
DNA sequencing technology has developed tremendously during the last years, both when it comes to price, speed, and yield. One of the current challenges lies in how to quickly and easily extract the relevant information from the vast amount of data to make it useful in a clinical or food-safety microbiological context. For several years, the Center for Genomic Epidemiology (CGE, http://www.genomicepidemiology.org/), Technical University of Denmark, has been developing free, web-based bioinformatics tools for exactly this purpose. For the seventh time, we offer the possibility to learn how to use these tools.
