Description:
In an era of increasing antimicrobial resistance, PK/PD is the basis of improving dosing regimens to optimise efficacy, reduce the risk of emergence of resistance and balance the safety aspects. This one-day conference before ECCMID will bring together researchers and clinicians from various parts of the world to discuss pro and cons of current PK/PD strategies. Each topic covers preclinical, translational and clinical aspects and will provide opportunity for discussion and input from the audience. This PK/PD conference will be a valuable experience for all involved in infectious diseases, as developer of new drugs or prescriber of antibiotics.

Attendance grants:
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist members”. The grant covers the registration fee of 130 EUR and travel/accommodation costs of 370 EUR (up to a total maximum grant value of 500 EUR). Please apply HERE before 5 March 2017. Applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application by 12 March 2017.
