We, Dept. of Microbiology, and the Enteric Division, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, are really pleased to announce the "Gut Microbiome 2016 - An International Perspective" on 21-22 October 2016 in Manipal.

It is increasingly clear that influencing the gut microbiome has the potential to revolutionize the management of infectious disease states in which the microbiome plays a critical role. For this reason, the Gut Microbiome conference is conceived as a mechanism for bringing together scientists, gastroenterologists, microbiologists and others with a direct research and treatment interest in modulating the gut microbiome to improve health.

Attendance Grants:
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel or accommodation costs. Please apply HERE before 30 September 2016. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by 7 October 2016.
