Description:
In a three-day workshop, participants will learn the basics of antibiotic therapy, and the rationale behind therapeutic choices made in infectious diseases. The main antibiotic classes and major syndromes will be discussed, and participants will be challenged to directly implement the course material in case discussions and interactive questions. The faculty includes specialists in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases from different European countries. To maximize interaction the number of participants will be limited to two groups of 25. The registration fee (early fee: €950 for specialists, €725 for resident physicians) includes three nights stay and full board during the course.
