Description:
South Asian Melioidosis Congress in Manipal, India, on 20-22 November 2015, is the first Congress to be held in this region involving countries like India, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar to increase the awareness about the deadly killer disease Melioidosis. The disease is most often mis-or under-diagnosed and it needs to be addressed in the forum of microbiologists, epidemiologists, ID specialists, and public health personnel, who can further form a network and work on this disease. South Asian Melioidosis Congress will help the researchers and doctors meet the global experts in the disease and will help in learning from each other.
