Workshop description:
European experts will present recent advances in research and medical care of NTM infections from an interdisciplinary point of view. We intend that the outlined programme will stimulate intense discussions and interactions between clinicians, scientists and students.The symposium will furthermore offer the opportunity to initiate an international platform, for clinicians and researchers, which will promote the identification of predisposing microbiological, epidemiological and immunological conditions underlying NTM infections and which we hope will facilitate the developement of novel diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
