Description:
The training course will consist of a plenary part and 3 separate tracks. The first track is a practical exercise how to analyze a high rate of surgical side infections. The second track is a practical exercise how to analyze a possible outbreak with clostridium difficile. The third track consists of four interactive masterclasses.
Who should attend: infection control nurses, infectious disease physicians, medical microbiologists and others involved in hospital epidemiology or infection control. The cases require some basic knowledge on epidemiology and statistics as well as basic experience with databases.
