Description:
The 6th International Meeting on Emerging Diseases and Surveillance, IMED 2016 will be held in Vienna, Austria from November 4 to 7, 2016. For those whose work deals with threats from infectious agents, IMED 2016 will once again bring leading scientists, clinicians and policy makers together to present new knowledge and discuss how to discover, detect, understand, prevent and respond to outbreaks of emerging pathogens. Since its inception, IMED has been a summit that unifies our approach to pathogens in the broadest ecological context and serves as a true One Health forum drawing together human and veterinary life scientists.

Attendance Grants:
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel costs. Please apply HERE before 16 September 2016. Participants will be informed about the outcome until 3 October 2016.
