The objective of the conference is to reunite the pertinent research community to provide a unique opportunity to foster global clinical and translational research in the field of pneumonia, influenza and emerging respiratory pathogens. The brainstorming sessions will provide attendees with the opportunity to openly discuss innovative research ideas, leading to significant, tangible results, including research proposals that will close important knowledge gaps in the field of lung infections.

Attendance Grants:
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist
members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel or accommodation costs. Please apply here before 1 March 2015. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by 1 April 2015.
