Event description:
The advent of solid organ transplant and of anti-TNF alpha agents have increased the number of immune-compromised patients. In this population, infections by bacteria, viruses or fungi represent very often a clinical challenge. Aim of this one-day conference is to put together some of the most relevant international experts in the field and to make them discuss on the problems they are facing in clinical practice.

Attendance Grants
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist
members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel or accommodation costs. Please apply here before 14 November 2014. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by 28 November 2014.
