The meetings will explore infections of the cardiovascular system and their treatment, including a focus on the latest scientific knowledge in the management of device infections and complex bacteraemia through scientific presentations, expert lectures, discussions and symposia. This is an excellent opportunity for infectious disease specialists, cardiologists, microbiologists, pathologists and cardiovascular surgeons to collaborate on basic and clinical research. It is a great opportunity to present the most interesting case reports from your practice and discuss them with a group of experts summoned from all around the globe. We expect a unique interface of scientific investigators, industry representatives actively involved in product developments in this area, and sponsoring societies involved in research and guideline development. The meeting is an opportunity for the most prominent researchers to develop future projects which will benefit patients and improve outcomes of these severe infections.

Attendance Grants
ESCMID provides a number of attendance grants for ESCMID “young scientist members”. The grant covers the registration fee, but not travel or accommodation costs. Please apply via this link before 5 April 2013. Applicants will be informed about their acceptance by 12 April 2013.
