Course Objectives
This course is aimed at MDs, PhDs, and veterinarians wishing to improve practical and theoretical knowledge of medical mycology.

- Basic knowledge in mycology including morphological and molecular identifications, typing techniques, antifungal resistance assays …
- Common and emerging filamentous fungi and related diseases: species identification, contribution of serology and histopathology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, role of the laboratory in the diagnosis and monitoring of the patients
- Common and emerging yeasts and related diseases: species identification, contribution of serology and histopathology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, role of the laboratory in the diagnosis and monitoring of the patients
- Mucocutaneousmycoses (Candida, Malassezia, dermatophytes)
- Traveland mycoses
