Call for nominations for EC election 2011

Help the Society select its leadership and nominate candidates for the Executive Committee election this autumn. Nominations can be made by clicking on the link displayed on the right side of all ESCMID webpages until 31 August 2011.

Survey on vaccination against influenza for ERS & ESCMID healthcare workers

This brief survey should only take a few minutes of your time, and aims to find out how many of the above have been vaccinated against influenza and their attitudes towards vaccination. Frontline clinicians are concerned about the variable and often poor uptake of influenza vaccine amongst healthcare workers, some of whom died during the 2009 pandemic. The reasons why healthcare workers choose to be vaccinated or not, are poorly studied, and the current survey aims to elucidate this further.
