Conference - Impact of Vaccines on Public Health opened by WHO and ECDC directors

This one-of-a-kind event in Europe brings together leading experts and key organisations to discuss this multi-faceted and complex issue. ESCMID is pleased to announce that Zsuzsanna Jakab (WHO) and Marc Sprenger (ECDC) will open the Conference. Register now to be part of this exciting and informative meeting in Prague from 1-3 April 2011.

Back to school - ESCMID Summer School registration open

Plan to join us in Treviso, Italy, from 2 - 9 July 2011. We have an exciting interactive programme lined up covering diverse topics in CM/ID as well as career advice. Especially tailored to young MDs and scientists!

Registration open for ESCMID Conference on Infections in Immunocompromised Hosts

The Conference will take place from 17 - 18 November 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. ESCMID is hosting this event in collaboration with the ESCMID Study Group for Infections in Compromised Hosts (ESGICH) and the International Immunocompromised Host Society. Attendance grants are available for young attendees.



Pre-registration figures for the ECCMID/ICC 2011 in Milan at the highest level ever

This year's congress also had a record number of submitted abstracts making it an even more attractive opportunity to get the latest information in the field as well as to meet colleagues in CM and ID. The Programme Committee is putting together a diverse programme so there is something for everyone. This year we have increased the number of Educational Workshops to 18 and are also offering a Trainees Day for the first time.
