ESCMID supported successful conference on drug-resistant bacteria

ESCMID supported a conference at Roehampton University in London, where students and more than 70 academics debated strategies to combat antibiotic-resistant bacteria at the occasion of the European Antibiotic Awareness Day. Five leaders in the field of bacterial research presented their cutting-edge work and spoke on current issues and approaches to deal with resistance. The conference aimed at raising public awareness and provided students with the chance to learn first-hand about research in this field.
