Grant and registration deadlines are approaching for the Barcelona Workshop

The ESCMID Postgraduate Technical Workshop Improving Patient Safety: the Neglected Impact of Age and Gender will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 2 - 4 September 2015. You may apply for a grant until 15 August and registration is open until 20 August. The objective of the course is to explore and discuss the importance of gender and age in infectious diseases. Theoretical background will be presented as well as an overview of gender and biological differences in the treatment and the diagnosis of infectious diseases. Selected topics include infections, vaccination and antimicrobial treatment will be discussed in depth.

The new ESCMID Education Programme is online now

The new education programme for 2016 includes a course on Diagnosis and Management of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in Cape Town, South Africa, a course called PREPAREing for (Re-)Emerging Arboviral Infections in Europe, which is taking place in Thessaloniki, Greece, or a hands-on workshop on Better Methods for Clinical Studies in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology in Seville, Spain.
