Aims and objectives

The ESCMID Study Group for Lyme Borreliosis (ESGBOR) plays a pivotal role in the management of Lyme borreliosis and tick-borne diseases. By uniting pan-European experts, we are committed to:

  • Advising healthcare professionals, leaders, and stakeholders on the management of Lyme borreliosis and other tick-borne diseases
  • Reviewing diagnostic and treatment guidelines, and publishing position statements to promote high standards of care
  • Facilitating research initiatives as well as organising thematic meetings and conferences to foster knowledge exchange
