Study all aspects of nosocomial infection which are particularly relevant for the sake and purposes of ESCMID and its membership. Establish essential links and networks and share expertise and knowledge with the membership (ESGNI & ESCMID) and to develop continuous education in the field of nosocomial infections & infection control. Carry out ESGNI cooperative studies which will consequently be published and represent the ESGNI members' position.
