Conference Objectives
Participants attending this conference will learn about the microbiological aspects, pathophysiology and clinical presentations of common and emerging invasive fungal infections. Up-to-date information on diagnosis and treatment for these infections will also be discussed in detail and future prospects will be highlighted.
Conference Venue
Auditorium, Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli
Università Cattolica Sacro Cuore
Largo Francesco Vito, 1
Rome, IT.
Target Audience
Specialists or physicians in training in the following disciplines: infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, mycology, other disciplines dealing with immunocompromised patients (e.g. haematology, oncology, chest medicine).
Application Procedure
Please complete the registration form (see right column).
Tuition Fee
Members of ESCMID and Affiliated Societies:
- Before and on 18 November 2009: EUR 500
- After 18 November 2009: EUR 650
